After months of planning, hoping, waiting, and trying not to interrogate Mother Nature every five minutes about her timing, our 2026 Fireborn Northern Inuit puppies are finally here. Tempest’s litter has arrived, and we are, quite predictably, completely smitten.
Tempest and her babies are doing well, and the house is currently running on very little sleep, a lot of coffee, and the usual breeder habit of staring at tiny sleeping puppies for far longer than any sensible person would consider normal.

At Fireborn, every litter matters. We do not breed often, and we do not breed casually. Our puppies are planned with health, temperament, structure and long-term breed wellbeing in mind. Our Northern Inuit puppies are bred to be healthy, thoughtful, well-rounded family companions with that unmistakable Northern Inuit magic that makes people fall in love with the breed in the first place.
This litter is especially close to our hearts. Tempest is one of our home-bred girls, a much-loved member of our pack, and very much herself: clever, sensitive, affectionate, and quietly funny in that very Northern Inuit way that keeps you on your toes. Pairing her was never going to be a casual decision. As always, it was about far more than looks. It was about preserving the qualities that matter most to us in the breed: sound temperament, strong health foundations, and dogs who can genuinely thrive as part of family life.
A carefully planned 2026 Fireborn Northern Inuit puppies
If this is your first time finding us, hello and welcome.
We are a small ethical Northern Inuit breeder based in North Yorkshire, and our dogs live in the house with us as family. That means our puppies are not raised in kennels or tucked away from everyday life. They grow up around normal household sounds, daily routines, people, other dogs, and all the wonderfully unglamorous reality that comes with living properly with a pack rather than pretending life is a permanent staged photoshoot.
Our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture protocols, with early neurological stimulation, age-appropriate enrichment, confidence-building experiences, and careful early socialisation. We put a huge amount of thought into giving them the best possible start, because those first weeks matter enormously.
Northern Inuit puppies are not for everyone — and that is exactly the point
We are always honest about the breed, because honesty gives puppies the best chance of ending up in the right homes.
Northern Inuits are beautiful, intelligent, deeply loyal and full of character. They are also capable of chaos, emotional theatrics, muddy enthusiasm, stubborn streak, selective hearing, and the occasional decision that makes you wonder whether you are sharing your home with a companion dog or a demon in a fur coat. We say that affectionately, because we adore them.
But they are not a breed for impulse decisions, and they are not suitable for every home. A Northern Inuit puppy needs time, training, patience, consistency, humour, and people who genuinely want a dog involved in daily life rather than simply existing around the edges of it.
That matters to us, which is why we make a point of developing a long lasting relationship with all Fireborn puppy families.
Thinking about one of our Northern Inuit puppies?
We are currently speaking to potential homes for this litter, and as always, our priority is finding the right match. If you have been seriously researching the breed and feel that a Northern Inuit puppy may be the right fit for your home and lifestyle, we are always happy to have a proper conversation. Our 2026 Northern Inuit puppies are here and we might potentially have a space on the waiting list for a family that would like to be owned by a girl (due to a cancellation). If you have been waiting for the right time to talk to us about a puppy, this is a good moment to say hello.
